"My Testimony – Evangelist Mary M. Rich

In countless instances, God has demonstrated His unwavering faithfulness in my life. In 2014, during my routine quarterly checkup with my primary care physician, I received the usual encouragement to undergo my yearly mammogram and women’s checkup. Initially hesitant, I eventually complied, and I am profoundly grateful that I did. At 59, I assumed that if nothing had surfaced in previous years, nothing would now. How wrong I was.

Following the mammogram, my OB/GYN informed me of its abnormal results, urging me to undergo an ultrasound-guided biopsy to dispel any doubts. The biopsy revealed a rare form of breast cancer known as Triple-negative breast cancer, lacking the common receptors found in breast cancer.

Facing the complexity of my situation, I turned to God, pleading for healing. I earnestly asked Him to speak the word or send someone to lay hands on me. However, His response was clear: 'YOU GOT TO GO THROUGH THE PROCESS.' Though initially challenging, I accepted God’s will with tears.

Meeting with the breast surgeon, I expected clarity on the next steps, but he presented three options: removing both breasts, the malignant breast, or opting for a lumpectomy. Choosing the latter, I found myself in a surreal moment when he asked, 'Surgery, radiation, or chemo – which do you want first?' I realized I needed all three.

In a nutshell, God guided me through 44 rounds of radiation, 6 chemo sessions, and surgery. Waking up post-surgery, the surgeon delivered the words I longed to hear: 'MRS. RICH, EVERYTHING WENT WELL, AND YOU'RE CANCER-FREE.' Despite the removal of 18 lymph nodes, I stand here today by God’s grace and healing power.

I implore every woman to prioritize regular checkups and necessary tests – it could save your life.

Be Blessed & Encouraged Always."
